I’m… confused? Having a hard time following what the sequence of events is here.
Are the white flashes Aden is having flashbacks, is he blinded by some mental instability, or are the jumps between environments blanks in memory retention?
Loving the improved art style and storytelling compared to the original series, I’ve been a long time follower of your work.
this is a dream sequence, is confusing even for him.
and as you say, it can be memories, it can be just ideas of him, or fears, it’s just part of the mystery (you can also notice Laura wearing the helmet previously had short hair, but in this bit her hair is long, it’s all disconnected on purpose)
I’m glad you like my work, remaking this comic has been challenging tbh, and I’m hating how these pages are looking even better than derideal part 2
never lose hope, happy endings needs a ton of sad events to be worth having (and remember the narrative of Aden’s dream isn’t exactly linear or even based on something that happened)

I get the impression that the white sequences are times when they are manipulating his brain, adding and/or removing things. What follows seem to be him processing these changes.

there could be periods of blackouts due brain stress or whatever due the same manipulation.
he’s not a stable creature
