Alpha’s right on the money for why he attacked Daniel. He’s confused about so much, and then Ivory suddenly made it so he can’t even trust anyone anymore by revealing Laura’s existence to him; again within notes from their very masters. Little hard to manipulate someone when manipulation requires undying trust for it to work effectively, and wiping his memories again is just going to result in them being back at square one. However they might be able to use his feelings toward Ivory against him…provided they’re willing to acknowledge that they’re more than tools for them to do whatever… Read more »

Alpha’s attempt to use all cards in his hand is admirable, but feels like a cornered animal situation.

I think I see her plan. It’s twisted but it looks conviction through honesty. They’ll probably even throw in a bit of misdirected blame at him for her death.
Something like. “If you hadn’t tried to escape she’d be still alive.”
He either drowns in the guilt or they give him a way to direct his anger at himself and for them, leading to that angry looking version of him from that flash forward at the begging. Probably the begging of his true rebel spirit.

That would still need him to believe anything she says, and I don’t think he’s in a believing mood right now.
