Something else I noticed on that cover…look at their eyes. Aden’s are blue, but Laura has the same yellow/orange eyes that Aden has now.
Aden’s eyes changed to the current colour after they altered/erased hus memories; could they have already done the same to Laura before the two met?
Aden’s eyes turn blue after his mind gets altered by the neuroplasty device that gives him consciousness, a depigmentation of the iris as side effect.
Every time he goes feral, is eyes turn yellow again, and when his brain gets more damage he’s shown to have more yellow spots covering it’s eyes during part 1.
Yeeeeah, because altering someone’s mind has never been met very negative consequences once the victim finally recovers enough to realize what’s been being done to them.
