yeah, it’s similar to that. but honestly, this has already happened around human history, that’s why they keep finding old roman buildings or rooms hidden under cities in Europe (for example)

Wonder if the rebels can give him a bionic ear so he doesn’t have to look lopsided anymore.

You know, for all the damage, it’s an amazingly well preserved and accessible buried city.
This place would probably be in the time frame of when the Void was built. But much like the Void, we don’t know too much of what happened back then to get it to the point of where it is now.
But considering in one timeline, that the Consortium moved into the Void to experiment and had multiple experiments explode in their faces, making them have to abandon the Void again. Nothing ever good comes from messing around with the old world.

That chasm reminds me of those jumps in video games that are easy to make in one direction but you can’t go back until later after you get movement upgrades.
Fortunately, it’s a lot smaller than those. Plus they’re cats.
