Alpha is still hellbent on doing whatever his masters tell him to do without question, while Ivory is questioning orders.
This mission could easily be as much a test of loyalty as it is recon, and failure of the loyalty part could result in death(or just them reprogramming the xeno’s mind).

Happy new year! Let’s hope that 2024 is filled with joy, hope, and love… and more pages of derideal. Can’t wait to find out what happens next, will alpha and ivory find each other or are they separated forever.
Ivory also appears to have lost Alpha. Maybe it’s time for her to have a one on one with some rebels and learn just how evil her masters truly are.
